High Court rules on Citizenship Seven
The High Court has disqualified the Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce and four others from Parliament, after finding they held dual citizenship in breach of the Constitution.
The Court has ordered a by-election for Mr Joyce's electorate in NSW and countbacks to replace Nationals Senator Fiona Nash, One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts, and the Greens former Senators Scott Ludlam and Larissa Waters.
Only Nationals Senators Matthew Canavan and Nick Xenophon were found not to have been citizens of a foreign power at the time of their election.
